Was rushing to work this morning, catching the train and such, although driving a car in Singapore is an expensive thing but it may be a good thing. Based on this morning experience in the mad rush to the office here are some thought that clouded my mind as I encountered some “obstructions” in my mad rush to work.
The lady is lazy
The lady is lazy symptom, ladies please for goodness sake take your EZlink card out of that freaking Gucci’s of yours, everyone is rushing out of the gate and I get held up by some lady rubbing her freaking handbag over the sensor multiple times attempting to get the card hidden inside her handbag to read.
The door is closing, please squeeze through the gap
Okay okay, it happened to me before so I’ll be more political about it, ha. It’s when some buggers, apparently me as well
try to squeeze though the closing door just before it closes, a successful attempt would lead to you catching the train and not piss people off, but if you fail and something or some parts get stuck the door would open up agian and you cause a hold up
. Almost did it this morning, think this is the last time I’m gonna ever do this.
The right side
Everyone knows the right side of the escalator is for “fast” moving traffic, but there are some buggers who just cannot get that idea into their heads, if you are freaking gonna keep on the left side then freaking move! It’s a hold up when some bugger just decides to stand and let the ride take them up.
Ghosts in the cabin
Seems casper is visiting us, there are spots in the train where empty space just fills the ermz well space. Like some ghost of foreign entity is taking up that space. For goodness sake just move in a little so those who are in need to reach the office get to the office and it’s called public transport for a reason right?
