There is a new Nintendo DS, did not really do a redesign on the guy but it looks smaller and a little cooler. I wonder if there will be added functions or just a physical upgrade. But I highly doubt there there will be any change in the functions. I wonder if this is going to be another Gameboy Advance SP? Just a facelift and better screen control.

What do you guys make of the line above? My friend actually intepreted it as I’m earning $3,400 per mth. Actually yeah that’s what I’ll probobaly earn later in my life, but for not it’s not the case. I’ll need to stinge and save about $500/mth so that I can aquire a mac, but MacOS X is going to run on Intels and it’s already doing that.
Check out OS X86 Project
If MacOSx does eventually run on the many Intel machines all over the world, perhaps I should just wait for the OS.
A friend of mine recently commented that Windows, Vista is going to change the way I look at MacOS X, I wonder why. Perhaps Vista is really going to be the next big thing, but I heard the basic requirements for install Vista is at least 1GB of ram and 8GB of harddisk space. What the heck is there in the Operating System? I still remember the good old days of dos when you would only need a disk to contain the whole operating system. So what’s up with all the requirements?
Anyway the main point that I wanna say is, Christa I dun earn $3,400 / mth, so dun wah.

If you thought the young are good at play video games, think again. There is actually this grandma that plays video games and is pretty good at em too. I have to say I never have the kind of determination as she does to complete games 3 times! Some Koreans are actually dropping dead from exaustion by playing too much in Cybercafes and she can actually play for 24 hours non stop at her age. I wonder how come my parents are not so fun, maybe one day my kids would be very happy if I grow up to be like this grandmother. Enough said just enjoy the clip!

I’ve been on the following service providers during my lifetime.
- Teleview
- Singnet dialup
- Pacific Internet dialup
- Singnet ADSL Magix
- Starhub MAXonline
My contract with Starhub is about over and now with more and more broadband plans in the market I wonder if it is time to switch over. So many things to consider if I go over to Singnet ADSL broadband. Imageine I have to check the telephone line, the microfilters etc etc. Cable is so much easier, plug and play. But I think I just wait till Sitex to see what they have to offer as during exibitions is when they provide the best offers to the customers. I heard that Singnet ADSL 1.5Mbps is having an offer for 36mths contract, and they are giving a $900 bucks Best Denki voucher. Lets see how Starhub will counter offer. 1 more week to the exibition and 1 more week to the end of my contract!

What is flock?
Flock is a new browser based on firefox 1.0+. These guys are reinventing the plain old web browser and providing services for users, including myself. They are fine tuning stuff at this period of time so there are some features that would need more refinement but it’s impressive as it is now. So you maybe asking me what is so great about new browser? Well this is just a quick post so I only have some initial assessments of the program these are the few things that caught my eye.
- Blog posts can be entered from the browser. You are able to log into the popular blog systems which include, blogger, wordpress, movabletype etc.
- Your bookmarks are automatically stored onto a server so with flock your bookmarks follow you whereever you go.
- Simple enough interface for doing stuff, I think it’s simplicity that makes flock something I like
- Feeds are organizable! Plus you can aggregate multiple feeds!
So what is the problems with Flock
- Blogging intereface is not friendly enough, ordered/unordered list do not work well, spent the last 10 mins figuring out how to play with this ordered and unordered list thing, maybe you guys can like do something like WP, put a end list or something like that.
- I cannot place where this blog entry goes!
- Facility to edit the links and categories
- Blogging interface will not be useful if I have to login into the webpage to edit my blog to make it appear properly.
Well Flock (ayuck) is a nice tool. But there is room for improvement, this browser has potential!

No it’s not the animate cartoon series Mighty Mouse and Friends, it is the new mouse that Apple computers has conjured up for the public. Surpisingly they have shed their single mouse button for no mouse buttons at all! Can you believe it no buttons but wait, they have cleverly reinvented the way we ‘click’. The buttons are actually there, its just that they have been cleverly camouflaged with touch sensitive material on the shell.
Oh great now they made a mouse does not click, all you hear would be the swishing of the mouse as it travels across the table. Without buttons meaning it would be a gamer’s dream, or would it? Almost zero wear on the buttons means better response even up to a million gazillion clicks as the button bashers fire away at enemies on the screen, but then again without buttons you would not know if you pulled the ‘trigger’, you lose the ‘clicky’ feeling which gives you the assurance that you did fire at your enemy.
Mighty Mouse!!

Now I guess by now most of us should know that Apple has a unique mouse system where they believe that one mouse button is sufficent for all your operations and if there is a need the keyboard can always assist as a secondary mouse clickNow not only do they have two mouse buttons + a nipple scroll ball for 360degree freedom, they included the ability to squeeze the sides of your little mouse to see the sights.. I think the strain from the WinTel empire is taking a toil on Apple, with their CEO Steve Jobs announcing their plans to switch to Intel chips, even their mice and becoming Windows friendly as there is Win2K and XP support. I seriously wonder what Apple’s plan is? Perhaps they want to steal part of the WinTel pie? The mouse is priced at S$88(US$49)In my opinion, you can go get yourself a wireless mouse with clicky feel at about the same price, of course for those that choose aesthetics over practicality it is a great mouse to add to your computer landscape. and is available at the Apple Store
